I have a confession to make – I am a bit tired of cooking at the moment. I am a bit fed up of all the planning, shopping, preparing and cleaning up. My beloved is very helpful but I am still getting a bored with the whole routine.
But… we all gotta eat right? So I am trying to make the easiest food this week so I can get out of the kitchen a bit faster.
Monday – cheeseburgers and salad – got some organic mince on discount
Tuesday – Spaghetti with broccoli and lemon
Wednesday – Spanish rice and prawn one pot
Thursday – going to a Meetup
Friday – Chilled red pepper soup with bread and cheese

We all hit this wall at some point – it just becomes time for a break! For choosing easy food, it sounds delicious! I am particularly fond of what you’re eating on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hopefully this week will leave you feeling refreshed!
Hi Sarah, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I have made the prawn one pot before, it is quick, easy and tasty. As for the broccoli with spaghetti, I have made something like it before but without the lemon. I think the lemon will add some zing.
I completely agree…although I’m mostly tired of doing dishes! I love the recipe for spaghetti with broccoli and lemon.
Hi Tabby, I am lucky my man does most of the dishes but I end up being the sherpa going to the shops on an almost daily basis and carrying it all back home. I will report back on the broccoli and lemon dish – I can’t see it being anything but a winner.
