Gosh, just a week into September and it is already chilly and raining in London. the change happened so fast. It is a bit depressing as we did not get to go on holiday this year and summer went by in the blink of an eye.
We are still eating summer’s bounty of lovely fruit and vegetables – for lunch I will be taking everything salad with cheese or cantaloupe with ham.
Monday – Fresh tomato sauce with chorizo and chili on pasta
Tuesday – Goat cheese melted on sourdough toast served on top of last week’s ratatouille
Wednesday – Mexican minced beef and spicy polenta cobbler
Thursday – Onion frittata with salad and crusty bread
Friday – Lamb and chickpea pilaf
