This week is going to be all about protein as I am trying to be a leaner around the caboose. Please if any of you have recipes that are lean on the wallet and the hips please drop me a comment or an email. I am afraid that I will run out of ideas pretty quickly.
Monday – Easy Lemony (Snicket) Chicken with salad
Tuesday – going out for Chinese, I promised ages ago and I try to keep my promises.
Wednesday – Tandoori Chicken – from an article in the Daily Mail about the Dukan Diet. A friend has said it yummy.
Thursday – I will probably have some more of the Tandori Chicken (I am making a big batch) as I am home last from sewing class.
Friday – Poached fish (most likely cod) with roasted cherry tomatoes on the vine.
Saturday – My favourite protein treat – steak with rocket (arugula) salad
Sunday – Shrimps sauteed in herbs with more salad – this recipe is in same Dukan Diet article in the Daily Mail as the Chicken Tandoori.
I am planning or perhaps hoping to do this slimming thing for about four weeks, I would love any recipes or hints that you lovely readers have. I don’t really do the diet thing very much but I am planning a trip and want to look fabulous.
